Grossberg, Yitzroch Loiza
(8/17/1923 Bronx-8/14/2002) (USA); aka Rivers, Larry
   Painter, printmaker, poet, musician, comix, and sculptor. Studied with Hans Hoffman in 19471948. Began his career as a jazz saxophonist, but then turned to art. A leading figure in the Pop Art movement. Best known for his emphasis on the human figure.
